Aditi Jain

I am a fashion illustrator and experience strategist working across couture, editorial image-making and systems. I trained in fashion design at NIFT, and I still look at clothes through the lens of proportion, construction, drape, gesture, restraint, and excess. That way of looking became Elsewhere, my ongoing atmospheric interpretation of contemporary fashion. I use the runway as a starting point, then build a world around a look while keeping the garment recognisable. Space, light, architecture, gesture and small human moments all shape how the work is felt. My references come from fashion, Indian visual traditions, architecture, memory and everyday observation. I am less interested in reproducing a runway photograph than in exploring the atmosphere a garment can create. My illustration work has been published by Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. Alongside my creative practice, I have spent much of my career working where product strategy, experience and operating systems meet. That background has made me particular about structure, editing and coherence, whether I am working on an image or a complex experience. I work with fashion houses, editors, publications and selected brands on editorial commissions, Fashion Week correspondence, collection stories, motion pieces and licensing.
